Aaron Michael Taylor 34, of Charleston, WV was born March 23, 1987, in Kanawha County, West Virginia, to Debbie and the late Lewis Taylor, Sr. Aaron went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 24, 2021, at CAMC General Division.
Aaron worked at TLTEK as a cable technician and was very skilled at punching cable. During his adolescent years he attended Capital High School. As a teenager Aaron played basketball for Stonewall Jackson Junior High School and was one of the star players. His team won the championship along with close friend, Josh (Cookie) Miller. Aaron scored 42 points in a junior high school basketball game, and it is still the record holder at the old Stonewall Junior High School.
Aaron was a Laker’s fan and loved to watch NFL football & NBA basketball on TV.
He loved to swim and was an avid swimmer. Aaron loved eating bacon cheeseburgers from Wendy’s, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed his group of friends; Monty, TJ, James, Paul, and Cookie , whom he considered his homeboys. Aaron was a people person and respectful to others. He was a big family person and enjoyed spending time hanging out with them. Aaron was genuinely loved by his parents and his family will continue to cherish his memories and sweet smile.
Aaron was proceeded in death by his father, Lewis Taylor, Sr., grandparents, Edgar, Jr., and Lille Pearl Taylor and Mamaie Brandon, great grandparents, Charles L. Jones and Charlotte M. Jones, brother, Tarone Taylor, uncles; Robert Taylor, Gerald Taylor, Sr. (Beverly), Edgar Taylor III (Priscilla), Eric Taylor (Susan), Larry Taylor (Barbara) and cousins, Khadidra (Peachie) Taylor and Donovan Taylor.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Debbie Taylor and brother, Lewis Taylor, Jr. (Jenny), five uncles; Timothy Taylor, Sr. (Valerie), Russell Taylor (Debora), Rickey Taylor, Arthur Brandon, Delbert Brandon (Rosalind) and six aunts; Lillie Ann Taylor, Janet Grimes, Jackie Brandon, Brenda Brandon, Anita Phifer and Beverly Taylor-Irving, two nieces and one nephew, Jasmine Taylor, Tasha Smith and Trevon Taylor, three great-nieces; Kaliyah, Avah, and Kylani; three great nephews; Colson, Amari and Da’Kari, and a host of cousins and close childhood friends who will miss him dearly.
