Adele Miller

1925 - 2004

Adele Miller, 79, was born October 14, 1925 in Farmville, Prince George County Virginia, the fifth child born to the late William and Eva Miller. She received her early education in the Prince George County public school system. In 1960 Adele moved to Huntington, West Virginia where she worked various places, including Pilgrim Laundry where she was employed for over twenty-five years. In addition to her parent's, three sisters Vera Miller, Classie Eanes and Gladys Archer, three brothers Roosevelt, Charlie and Wilson Miller and a grand son Jerry Wright preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: Daughter Willese (John) Bennett, Paterson, New Jersey, Sister Rosette Holmes, Paterson New Jersey, five Grandchildren; Edward Wright, Paterson, New Jersey, Troy Wright, Hackensack, New Jersey, Yvette Taylor, Tramain Wright and Santangila Gaston all of Paterson, New Jersey. Seven Great Grand Children, three Great-Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Young Chapel AME Church, with The Reverend Samuel Chambers, officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior at the church. The care and services for Mrs. Miller have been entrusted to Callender Funeral Home.
