Obituary

Deborah Ann “Debby” Thornton, 65, of Cedar Grove, West Virginia, passed away Friday, July 13, 2023. She was born October 30, 1957, in Charleston, WV, to the late Sanford and Barbara Hudnall. Debby enjoyed fishing, watching football and spending time with her family and friends. She was always there to help others and was a volunteer at the local food banks.

In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger D. Hudnall and Gary W. Hudnall, and sister, June Hern.

Debby is survived by her son, David Thornton, Pratt, WV, ex-husband, Eric Thornton, Charleston, WV, sister, Tammy Summers (Gary), Salisbury, NC, brother, Timothy Hudnall, Charleston, WV, nephew, Timothy Tate, great niece, Regan Nicole Brown, and good friends, Chris Lowery, and Linda Jones.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
