Dorian Lydell "DorDor" Straughter

Dorian Lydell “DorDor” Straughter, 43, of Charleston WV, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 3, 2021 at CAMC General Hospital.  He was born October 27, 1977 in Charleston WV to Herman and Barbara A. Straughter.

Dorian was preceded in death by his father, Herman Straughter, Jr., grandparents, Herman, Sr., and Ella Mae Straughter, and Daniel and Gertrude Cunningham, sister, Shannah Straughter and aunt, Sandra Cunningham.

Those left to cherish Dorian’s memory are his mother, Barbara A. Straughter, brothers, Cheko Straughter and Bryant Harris (Cindy), sister, Nicole Straughter, uncles; Darrell Cunningham (Cathy), Daniel Cunningham, Chauncey Cunningham and James Straughter, all of Charleston, WV, aunts, Barbara L. Straughter, of Charleston, WV and Darice Abdulla (Haji), of Durham, NC, nephew, Jamar Jones, nieces; Jalisa Straughter, Makayla Straughter, and Brylyn Harris,  great nieces, Alaijah Smith and Naziah Moore, all of Charleston, WV, his significant other, Rhonda Thompson of Charleston, WV, and a host of family and close friends.

Private funeral services for family and close friends will be held Friday, April 16, 2021, 6:00 p.m. at Callender Funeral Home, 706 Rebecca Street, Charleston, WV.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Dorian’s name to $Nicoleds73 for memorial expenses.
