Obituary
Elizabeth Ann Ramsey Fortson, 67, of Charleston, West Virginia, transitioned Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born September 15, 1955, in Charleston, to Thomas G. and Rosalee Ramsey. Ann was devoted to her family and friends, and she dedicated a lifetime of service to her church and community.
Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Ramsey, Jr., and sister, Rose Ivy.
Ann is survived by her husband of 41 years, Alexander Fortson, son, Julius “Buster” Bishop, Jr., daughters, Lasha Fortson, and Zandra Tiannoi, grandson, Julius Bishop, III, brothers, John Edward Ramsey, and Tellis “Tee” Ramsey, sisters, Jacquelyn Ramsey Cash, and Eva Kaye Hawkins.
