Obituary
Floyd Henry Parker, 84, of Charleston, WV, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 14, 2022. He was born in Sullivan, WV, March 28, 1938, to Odie and Stella Parker.
Floyd graduated from Stratton High School, and retired from CAMC after many years of service as a physician assistant. He was a veteran of the US Army, and a deacon at First Baptist Church, Charleston. Floyd will truly be missed.
Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, sister, brothers and many loved ones.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife, Mamie Louise Parker, sister, Christine Green, Baltimore, MD, brother-in-law, Robert Duiguid, Oakland, CA.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 432 Shrewsbury St., Charleston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Callender Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be left at callenderfuneralhome.com.
