George Edward “Porgy” Hicks, Jr., 65, gained his wings Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Charleston, West Virginia. He was born November 3, 1957, to the late George, Sr., and Surverna Hicks.
George was a graduate of Charleston High School. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
George is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Harris, and brothers, Raymond Mosley, Ronald Hicks, and Douglas Hicks.
George leaves to cherish his memory, son, Michael Green, sister, Phyllis Moore (Curtis), and brothers, Michael Hicks, and Bryant Hicks, all of Charleston, WV. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
