Helen Marie Burkes

Helen Marie Burkes, 50, of Charleston, West Virginia went to be with her Lord on Sunday April 1, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.  Helen was born April 30, 1967, Charleston, West Virginia to parents George J. Brown and Dorothy Wills.

She was preceded in death by her father George J. Brown.

Helen leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Carlos Lopez of Charleston, mother, Dorothy Wills, son, Kenneth (KJ) Lee of Charleston, daughters, Ashley John of Baltimore, MD, Augusta Burkes, brothers, Arnold Brown, James Brown, Coy Wills, sisters, Martha Brown, Virginia Rosie Ealm, Georgia Ealm, Bertha Nichols, Louliza Wills, Mary Estep, Brenda Brown,  grandsons, Kleavon John, Kahleel John  both of Baltimore, MD, granddaughter and Kanyce John of Baltimore, MD. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
