Hillery Holmes Rollins

Hillery Holmes Rollins, 76, of Handley, West Virginia, passed away, February 25, 2020, at Hubbard Hospice West, Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, WV.  He was born December 17, 1943, to James and Ellen Rollins.

Hillery graduated from East Bank High School in 1961 and then enlisted in the United States Air Force. Hillery served his country from 1962 to 1966. Following his stint in the military he returned to West Virginia and was employed in various careers, including American Electric Power and Federal Express.

Hillery had an infectious personality as well as many lifelong friends. He lived the last years of his life in Dunbar, WV, near his loving sister, Alice Long.

In addition to his parents, Hillery was preceded in death by brothers, James Thomas Rollins, Dayton, OH and George Richard Rollins, Handley, WV.

Hillery is survived by his daughter, Sharon Watkins, MD (Glenn Walker), Morgantown, WV, sister, Alice Long, Dunbar, WV and sister-in-law, Nellie Barbara Rollins, Dayton, OH, and a host of nieces and nephews.
