Jackie Ann Linthicome

On February 7, 1963, Willene Austin gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Jackie, in Dillon, South Carolina. She passed away March 7, 2022.

While at Saint Albans High School, Jackie met her soon-to-be husband, Donald Linthicome. They tied a beautiful knot, March 5, 1985. With Jackie, family always came first, and she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, May 17, 1987. She lovingly named him Dontae. Shortly after, they were granted another blessing with another child, Keon, who was born, June 1, 1991.

Jackie was no stranger to hard work, and she worked feverishly to provide love and support for her family. Jackie worked nights at Sweet Briar Assisted Living and went to school at West Virginia State College, where she earned an associate degree. Shortly after earning her degree, Jackie began working for the State of West Virginia as an auditor.

Jackie was a firm, yet loving person. She would give you a kick in a pants if you needed it, but also showed compassion compared to nobody else. Jackie fought a long and hard battle against breast cancer. Even though she has left her earthly body, Jackie will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Donald Linthicome, sons, Dontae Linthicome (Alexa), and Keon Linthicome (Jasmine), grandsons, Jadon Johnson, and Deontae Linthicome, granddaughter, Aniyah Woodson, brother, James Carmichael, and sisters, Sharon Carmichael, Barbara Wall, Rose Hairston, and Iris “Nita” Coleman.
