James Reynard Collins

James Reynard Collins, 40, of Belle, WV, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at his residence.  He was born July 22, 1981, in Charleston, WV, and was raised in Powellton where he attended First Missionary Baptist Church of Powellton during his childhood. 

James was a loving father to his four children. They were the purpose for this life.

James  is survived by his, son, Asan Jones, daughters, Ana Collins, Ania Jones and Jamesha Collins, all of Charleston, WV, mother, Sarah Towles Collins, Belle, WV, sister, Virginia “Jennie” Accor (Pierre), Rock Hill, SC, step siblings, Scott Mitchell (Tara), and Kelvin Mitchell, both of Charleston, WV, and Tanya Boddy of Columbus, OH, a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, family, and friends. 

James is preceded in death by his father, William James Collins. 

Memorial services will be Saturday August 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at New Life Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 412 21st St., W., Charleston, WV. Visitation with family and friends at 12:30 p.m.  Immediately following memorial services there will be a Celebration of Life BBQ at Shawnee Park, Shelter 2, Dunbar. The family asks everyone attending to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
