JoAnn Harris

JoAnn Harris, 86, of Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 26, 2023. She was born Saturday, February 27, 1937, the daughter of John Campbell and Evangeline Birdo.

JoAnn was educated in Kanawha County schools and graduated from Boyd Jr. High School and Garnet High School. She retired from CAMC, Memorial Hospital. JoAnn left a lasting impression and will be missed by many. She was a good friend to her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Harris, Sr., son, Lowell Harris, granddaughter, Alanis Monroe, parents, and siblings.

JoAnn is survived by her sons, Donald Harris, Charleston, WV, and Travis Harris, Jr. (Adrienne), Sterling, VA, daughters, Linda Harris Hale, Lewisville, TX, and Jewel Harris, Killeen, TX, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
