John White Sr. Obituary

John Franklin White, Sr., 80, of Charleston, WV, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Valley Center Nursing Home, South Charleston, WV. He was born August 15, 1938, in Charleston, WV, to late parents, Ernest and Rosa White. John graduated from Charleston High School. He was a relocation officer in the Triangle District for the Department of Highways and was president of the New First Baptist Church Togetherness Club. He resigned from the Department of Highways, after having worked seven years, to work full time with a light construction business and devote more time to the church club.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest White, Larry White, Curtis White and Kenneth White.

Those left to cherish John’s memory are his sons, John Franklin White, Jr., and Vernon Timothy White, and daughter, Cassandra Reed.
