Kenneth Daryl Lee

On June 30, 1960, in Manhattan, New York, Kenneth Daryl Lee was born. Kenneth was the firstborn of his mother, Beulah Lee. He passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022.

During his life he lived in the state of New York and West Virginia. Kenneth attended high school in New York and completed his GED with Job Corp. Kenneth worked as a music DJ and, in his prime, would work school proms, parties, and DJ at clubs in the city of Charleston. Although divorced, Kenneth was married twice; first to wife, Lydia, and to second wife, Helen.

Kenneth was a very humble man who cared greatly about his family. The happiest moment of his life was when he married Helen, and they had two children together, Kenneth Jr., and Auggie. Kenneth was also a sweet and caring guy; a good person who would do no wrong to anyone and always greeted everyone with a smile. He was fun to be around and liked to laugh and joke. Kenneth was never into doing bad things or using drugs. Kenneth's favorite hobby was playing the drums and congas. He also enjoyed listening to his favorite group, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, and his favorite musician was Teddy Pendigrass.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Kermit Morris.

Left to cherish Kenneth’s memory are his children, Kenneth Lee, Jr., of Indiana, Auggie Lee, South Charleston, WV, mother, Beulah Lee, Charleston, WV brothers, Cedric Lee, and Mark Lee, both of upstate NY, Ivan Lee, South Charleston, WV, Omar Lee, Charleston, WV, Kermit Morris Jr., of NY, sisters, Andrea Lee, Charleston, WV, Andrea  “Nikki” Morris, Atlanta, GA and Lynette Morris, Brooklyn, NY

Kenneth was loved dearly by his family and will be missed. He will always be remembered as a brother, cousin, father, and son who was dearly loved.

We will always remember Kenneth and he will never be forgotten!
