Nevonia Lee Parker

Nevonia Lee Parker, 76, of Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 21, 2023. She was born May 2, 1947, in St. Albans, WV, to the late Stellman Strawther and Richenda Jenkins Strawther.

Lee, as was referred to by many, attended Kanawha County schools. She was a joy to be around and met no strangers.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonzo Parker, parents, grandmother, Rosalyn Jenkins and sister, Karen Strawther.

Left to cherish Nevonia’s memories are her brothers, Stellman Strawther, Jr. (Anita), and Craig Strawther (PJ), sister, Myra Ann Strawther, aunt and caretaker, Beverly Gibson, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during Nevonia Lee Parker’s last days.
