Teena Yvette Williams

Teena Yvette Williams, of Charleston, West Virginia, departed this life peacefully, after a short illness Monday, December 18, 2023. She was born in Charleston but spent most of her childhood growing up in Flint, Michigan. Teena was born to Sharon Diane Little and Cass Banks Carter. She later married the late Ira I. Williams of Montgomery, WV.

Teena was surely a loving, caring, free-spirited soul that never met a stranger.

Preceding Teena in death were her grandparents, William “Buddy” and Thomasine Purnell.

Teena’s surviving relatives are mother, Sharon Diane Little, stepfather, John Little, brother, John Little, Jr., of Flint, MI, special friend, Lamont Bolland, of Charleston, WV, and a host of uncles, nephews, and cousins.

Teena’s interment will be at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV, at a later date.
